How MathRush processes profile, learning, advertising, notification, purchase, support, and diagnostic information.

Effective: 20 August 2026Last updated: 20 August 2026App: MathRush for Android

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how MathRush processes information when you use the MathRush Android app, its cloud progress/recovery features, rankings and player discovery, purchases, advertising, notifications, and support features. “MathRush,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the MathRush service.

MathRush uses a no-password/no-traditional-login recovery model. A cloud player profile may still be created and linked to an installation so that progress and eligible entitlements can be restored or synchronized.

2. Information we process

2.1 Profile and recovery information

Depending on what you choose to provide, MathRush may process a display name, email address, mobile number, profile image/avatar, player identifier, installation/device-link identifier, and related recovery fields. Email and mobile information are used for account/progress recovery and support; they are not intended to be shown publicly.

2.2 Learning and gameplay information

MathRush processes data needed to provide its learning and game experience, such as quiz results, answer history, scores, virtual coins, XP, player level, streaks, achievements, Daily Challenge and daily-goal progress, adaptive-learning evidence, mastery/mistake concepts, recommended difficulty, game-mode performance, best scores/times/combos, weekly missions, challenge-calendar activity, milestone claims, and related progress state.

2.3 Public or social game information

MathRush includes rankings, user search/player discovery, badges, referrals, and coin-gifting features. Your chosen display name, avatar/profile image, player identifier and selected game/progress statistics may be visible to other MathRush users when those features are used. We do not intend to expose your recovery email address or mobile number through those public surfaces.

2.4 Support information

If you contact support or submit feedback, we may process your name, email address, optional mobile number, category/priority, message, optional attachment that you choose to provide, and app/device diagnostic details included with the support report. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification, or other information that is not needed to resolve your issue.

2.5 Purchases and entitlements

Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. MathRush may receive and process product identifiers, purchase tokens, purchase/acknowledgement state, subscription or entitlement state, and related verification/fulfilment information. MathRush does not receive your full payment-card number from Google Play.

2.6 Advertising and advertising identifiers

The free version of MathRush can display advertising using Google Mobile Ads and configured mediation partners, including Meta Audience Network mediation. Depending on your region, consent choices, ad-serving mode and provider configuration, advertising technologies may process information such as IP/network information, advertising or device identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, frequency control, fraud/security, and—where permitted—personalization.

Where required, MathRush uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or manage advertising privacy choices before requesting ads. Premium entitlement removes passive banner/native/interstitial advertising where described in the app; optional rewarded advertising can remain available only when you choose to use it.

2.7 Notifications

MathRush uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal for push/notification functionality. These services may process push tokens, installation/device identifiers, app/device information and notification interaction metadata needed for delivery, reliability, audience/alias management and measurement, depending on configuration. MathRush also supports local reminders and optional smart learning nudges.

2.8 Optional diagnostics and analytics

MathRush defaults its optional Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics collection to off and applies the Diagnostics preference available in Settings. If you enable Diagnostics, these services may process app interaction, device/app information, crash/error details and related diagnostics to help us understand reliability and improve MathRush. Turning Diagnostics off does not disable functional services that are necessary for cloud sync, purchases, notifications, or advertising.

2.9 Technical and service information

MathRush and its service providers may process technical data needed to operate networked features, such as app version, device/platform characteristics, connectivity information, Firebase installation identifiers, remote-configuration state, security/fraud signals, and server request metadata such as IP address and timestamps.

3. Android permissions and device access

The current MathRush release requests only permissions required for its implemented features, including internet/network access, notification permission on supported Android versions, boot/restart handling for reminders, Google Play Billing, and advertising identifier access where available. MathRush does not request broad media/storage access, camera, microphone, precise/approximate location, or “manage all files” permission in the current release.

If you choose a profile picture or support attachment, Android’s user-selected picker/URI mechanisms can provide access to the specific item you selected without granting broad storage access.

4. Why we use information

5. Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate MathRush. Information may be disclosed to or processed by these providers only for the purposes relevant to their services and subject to their own terms/privacy practices and our configuration:

We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on applicable privacy law, some transfers associated with personalized or targeted advertising may be treated as “sharing” or similar regulated activity. Where required, relevant privacy choices are provided through the advertising consent/privacy tools and platform settings.

6. Data storage, security and international processing

MathRush uses HTTPS/TLS for network communication and disables cleartext traffic in the Android app. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own. When required by applicable law, transfers are handled using the safeguards made available by the relevant service provider or otherwise required by law.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MathRush, maintain cloud progress/recovery, fulfil purchases, support users, protect against fraud/abuse, maintain legally required records, and operate the service. Retention periods can vary by data type and provider. When a verified deletion request is completed, MathRush-managed cloud data covered by the request is deleted or de-identified subject to data that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or limited backup lifecycle periods.

8. Your choices and controls

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

9. Children and younger users

MathRush is an educational/game product that may be attractive to learners of different ages. The availability and advertising treatment of the app must match the target-audience settings and Families configuration selected for the published Google Play listing. We do not use the Privacy Policy itself as a substitute for age-appropriate product, ad, consent, or parental-protection requirements.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that should not have occurred, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information. Parents or guardians may also use the deletion process for a profile they are authorized to manage.

10. Third-party links and promoted apps

MathRush may contain links to Google Play, external support/privacy pages, or promoted third-party apps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to another service.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when MathRush features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
