App Permissions

Folixa requests Android permissions only for features that need them. Availability and wording vary by Android version and device.

Permission / accessPurposeYour control
CameraCapture documents and scan QR/barcodes.Deny or revoke in Android Settings. Gallery/file import remains available where supported.
NotificationsShow service, update, feature and promotional notifications you permit.Requested at runtime on supported Android versions; can be disabled any time.
Files and media / All files accessImport, locate, create, organize and export document/PDF files in shared storage.Grant only when needed. System pickers may allow selecting individual files. Broad access can be revoked in Special app access.
Network and Wi-Fi stateDetect connectivity for remote configuration, billing, support, notifications, promotions, analytics and ads.No precise GPS permission is requested.
Biometric / fingerprintConfirm access to protected document groups through Android’s biometric system.Optional. Folixa receives an authentication result, not the biometric template.
VibrationProvide capture and interaction feedback.Controlled by device/system settings where available.
All files access is sensitive. Google Play restricts MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE. Folixa must use it only when broad shared-storage access is critical to its core file/document management functionality and privacy-preserving alternatives such as the Storage Access Framework are insufficient.
