Purchase missing?
Use Refresh/Restore Purchase with the same Google account used to buy Folixa.
File not visible?
Check the Folixa PDF Library, Android Files, Documents, Downloads and the folder selected during export.
Camera unavailable?
Grant Camera permission in Android settings, close other camera apps and restart Folixa.
OCR incomplete?
Use a straight, sharp, well-lit image with readable Latin text, then review the result manually.
Files and storage
Where are my documents saved?
Document groups and working data are stored locally. Exported PDFs and signatures may be saved in shared Documents, Pictures or another folder chosen by the feature. Use the in-app PDF Library and Android Files to locate them.
Will uninstalling delete everything?
App-private data is normally removed, but files exported to shared storage can remain. Delete those files manually if you no longer want them.
Why does Folixa request storage access?
Storage access is used to import user-selected files, manage document/PDF outputs and support existing files. Grant only the access you are comfortable with. Newer Android versions may provide system pickers that let you select individual files.
How do I protect a document?
Use Folixa’s lock/PIN feature where available. Keep in mind that exported or shared copies may not retain the same in-app protection.
Scanning, OCR and PDF tools
How do I get a cleaner scan?
Place the document on a contrasting surface, avoid glare, hold the phone parallel, keep all corners visible and use the crop/filter screen before saving.
Does OCR upload my document?
ML Kit performs text-recognition input processing on-device. Google may receive technical ML Kit metrics, but not the input image or recognized text as content through ML Kit.
Why can a PDF operation fail?
The source may be damaged, encrypted, very large, unsupported or unavailable. Free storage, copy the source locally, try fewer pages and verify the password where applicable.
Is the signature legally verified?
No. Folixa adds a visual signature image. It is not a certificate-based digital signature or identity-verification service.
Premium and billing
How do I cancel?
Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Folixa → Cancel.
Why did premium disappear?
Check that you are signed in to the purchasing Google account, Google Play is online and the subscription is active. Then use Restore/Refresh Purchase. Refunded, revoked or expired purchases do not provide continuing access.
Will premium remove ads?
Active and verified subscription or lifetime premium is designed to prevent Folixa from loading or showing third-party ads and in-app promotions.
Privacy and notifications
How do I stop notifications?
Open Android Settings → Apps → Folixa → Notifications and turn them off. You can also manage available notification settings inside Folixa.
How do I change ad privacy choices?
Use the Privacy choices option in Folixa when available. You can also manage the Android advertising ID and app permissions in device settings.
How do I delete data?
Delete local files in Folixa/Android Files and use our Data Deletion page for online records.
