1. Acceptance and eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement in your country. If you use the App for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Limited license

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on compatible Android devices for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass technical restrictions, extract proprietary components or use Folixa to create a competing service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Your documents and content

You retain ownership of the images, documents, PDFs, signatures, text and other content you use in Folixa. You are responsible for:

• having the legal right to scan, copy, edit, sign, share or store the content;
• checking outputs before relying on, sending or printing them;
• maintaining appropriate backups of important files; and
• protecting your device, exported files and sharing destinations.

Folixa does not become the owner of your document content. A limited right to process support attachments is granted only to investigate and respond to your request.

4. Scanning, OCR and PDF-tool limitations

Automatic edge detection, OCR, barcode recognition, cropping, enhancement, compression, splitting and conversion are automated tools. Results may vary because of lighting, image quality, language, handwriting, document structure, device performance, password protection or file corruption. Always review:

• OCR text before copying, saving or using it;
• receipt totals, dates, contact details and QR content;
• page order, quality and output location after PDF operations; and
• important legal, medical, financial, academic or identity documents against the original.

Folixa is not a records-verification, legal, accounting, medical or government service and is not affiliated with any government authority.

5. Visual signatures

Folixa can place a drawn or typed image of a signature onto a PDF. This is a visual signature, not a certificate-based digital signature, qualified electronic signature, identity verification or notarization service. Its legal effect depends on the document, parties, evidence and applicable law. You are responsible for obtaining authorization and choosing an appropriate signing method.

You may not copy or place another person’s signature without lawful authorization.

6. PIN, biometric and PDF protection

PINs, biometrics and PDF-password tools can reduce casual unauthorized access, but no protection is absolute. Biometric authentication is performed by Android. Exported or shared files may no longer be protected by the App. Keep independent backups and do not rely on Folixa as the sole storage location for critical records.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Folixa to:

• forge, falsify or fraudulently alter identity documents, certificates, invoices, signatures or records;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or confidentiality rights;
• scan, distribute or store unlawful, abusive, exploitative or malicious content;
• circumvent document security or access files without authorization;
• transmit malware, overload services or interfere with other users or systems; or
• violate sanctions, export controls or applicable law.

8. Subscriptions and lifetime purchases

Premium products are sold through Google Play. Subscription prices, billing periods, trials, offers and taxes are displayed by Google Play before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable entitlement for the Android App and eligible Google Play account, subject to verification and platform availability.

9. Advertising, promotions and third-party links

The free version may show third-party ads and app promotions. We do not control every destination, offer or privacy practice. Review a third party’s terms before installing, purchasing or submitting data. Active and verified premium users are intended to receive an ad-free, promotion-free experience, but system messages, Play Store purchase interfaces and user-initiated external links are not ads controlled by Folixa.

10. App changes and availability

We may improve, add, remove, limit or discontinue features; change usage limits; update supported Android versions; or modify remote configuration to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance and service quality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file or permanent support for every device.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folixa is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bushra Studio and The AppFusion will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, missed deadlines, document rejection or harm caused by user-selected sharing destinations. Our aggregate liability relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Suspension or termination

We may restrict online services or support where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, legal requirements or material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete local content or uninstall it. Exported files may remain in shared storage.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country. Disputes will be handled by competent courts where Bushra Studio is established, unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.
